COMPLETING A CYCLE AND WELCOMING NEW LEADERSHIP AT SBA
Last Monday (10/03/2025), I concluded my term as President of the Brazilian Society of Automatics, Sociedade Brasileira de Automática (SBA). It has been an incredible journey filled with learning, challenges, and achievements, always supported by an amazing community dedicated to advancing Automation and Control in Brazil.
I want to express my sincere gratitude to my fellow board members, SBA members, and everyone who contributed in any way to making this term productive and impactful. Teamwork was essential, and every collaboration made a difference!
At the event marking the end of this chapter, we also welcomed the new board, now led by Prof. Gustavo Artur de Andrade. I wish the new leadership and its team great success in this new mission. I am confident that SBA will continue to grow and drive our field toward new frontiers!
